Work / Co-founder, go-to-market

TomoAds

Ads where crypto users actually spend their day: inside Telegram.

Context

Advertisers have a hard time reaching real users inside Telegram. Meanwhile, the people who run bots and groups sit on ad slots they never manage to sell. I co-founded TomoAds in 2026 to connect the two.

The challenge

A two-sided market starting from zero. Advertisers won't come without reach, and bot owners won't integrate without advertisers.

My role

Co-founder, owning go-to-market: negotiating with bot and channel owners, setting the commercial terms and building supply before demand.

Approach

  • Charge for clicks verified as human, not for views nobody can check. Crypto advertisers have been burned by bot traffic, so trust is the product.
  • Build supply first, so the first advertiser has somewhere real to run.
  • Let each bot pick the format that fits its own experience instead of forcing one ad type on everyone.

Execution

We shipped the platform with Website & Mini App Ads, Video Reward Ads and Telegram Text/Button Ads, and partner bots now serve live ads inside their own groups.

Results
  • Live, with native formats running inside partner bots.
  • Campaigns can appear across about 15,000 crypto groups reached by those bots.
What I learned

After about 100 conversations with bot owners, I stopped pitching the biggest ones. They sell their slots on fixed upfront deals, and a bot that earns a cut of every trade will never be won over by a per-click ad. The bots that say yes are the smaller ones with empty slots. In a marketplace, the side you think is the bottleneck usually isn't.

The how stays for the conversation. Let's talk.
